Ateneo hosts registrars' conference

On 16 February 2023, Ateneo de Manila University opened its doors to the National Capital Region School Registrars’ Association (NACSRA) for its first onsite conference since COVID-19.  It was held at Dr. Ricardo and Rosita Leong Hall Auditorium.

The NACSRA conference is held annually to update its members on the new requirements, new policies, and recent happenings in the Commission of Higher Education. It is also a venue to discuss topics relevant to registrars, admission officers, records officers, and liaison officers.

The theme for this year’s conference is Registrarship: Challenges and Resolutions. The unprecedented challenges created by the pandemic compelled the Registrar's Offices of various academic institutions to come up with effective solutions immediately.  The conference, through its line-up of speakers, hopes to help the participants better understand the new directions from CHED, navigate the legal issues in education, digitization of student records, digitalization of records management, and develop health well-being strategies for registrars.
