Grade 5 "Learning Journey" covers classical music, conducting, and cats

In the morning of Friday, February 3, 2023, the Ateneo de Manila Grade School’s Grade 5 boys had their Special Learning Journey at Singson Hall. 

The activity started with a concert by the Scala Chamber Orchestra, which entertained the students with classical music. Our boys also had a chance to sing along to some popular OPM and international pop music. One of the highlights of the concert was the students’ participation in a conducting lesson given by the conductor himself. Also notable was the “Harana” sung by talented Grade 5 faculty.

The concert was then followed by a short talk by Ms. Abigail T. Favis about the Ateneo Community Cat Program (ACCaP). Ms. Favis gave the boys invaluable tips and insights about caring for these cats, which she also referred to as “Cateneans.”
