Philippine ambassador to Mexico visits Ateneo to strengthen educational, cultural relations

On 15 February, incoming Philippine envoy to Mexico, H E Lilybeth R Deapera, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Mexican States, visited Ateneo de Manila University for a courtesy call with Fr Bobby Yap SJ.
She was accompanied by Stephanie Alexis A Cruz, Acting Director for the Division for Mexico and Central America at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Deapera and Fr Bobby, together with Karen Sunico of the Office of International Relations of Ateneo, discussed potential points of cooperation between the University and possible counterparts in Mexico, through different activities and projects that include educational talks, day-long celebrations, and more.
The meeting concluded with a simple merienda among the guests.
