Blue Eagle Bonfire: Details and Guidelines

The Blue Eagle Bonfire in celebration of the UAAP champion teams: Women’s Badminton, Men’s Swimming, and Men’s Basketball will be held this  Saturday, January 21, 2023.

The celebration will be made up of four (4) parts starting at 4:00 PM. 

  1. Blue Eagles Meet & Greet
    Time: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
    Venue: Blue Eagle Gym
     
  2. Bonfire Pre-Program
    Atenean Performers
    Time: 4:00 - 8:00 pm
    Venue: Ateneo Grade School Parking Lot 
     
  3. Bonfire Program
    Time: 8:00 - 10:00 pm
    Venue: Ateneo Grade School Parking Lot
     
  4. After Party Concert
    Time: 10:00 pm onwards
    Venue: Ateneo Grade School Parking Lot

For all those who do not have Ateneo car stickers to enter the campus, kindly fill up this form: go.ateneo.edu/BonfireCAR

 

For all those who wish to go to the Meet and Greet with the Ateneo Men’s Basketball Team, please follow the guidelines below:

  1. Pre-register via go.ateneo.edu/BonfireCAR
  2. Vehicular access to the event will be via Gates 2 and 3.
  3. Pedestrian access will be via Gate 1 and Pedestrian Gate 2.5 (near pedestrian overpass).
  4. Face masks are required for entry to the campus and the Blue Eagle Gym. Masks must be worn at all times.
  5. The Blue Eagle Gym entrance will  open at 3:15 pm. Ushers and security personnel will be at the entrance to direct and assist all attendees.
  6. Instructions on how the meet and greet will be conducted will be given at 3:50 pm. The picture taking cum meet and greet will start right after.
  7. There will be no autograph signing during the event. All attendees will have the chance to have their photos taken with the team members.
  8. Eating is strictly not allowed inside the Blue Eagle Gym. However, reusable water bottles may be brought inside the BEG.
  9. Reminder: keep your valuables secured. The organizers will not be responsible for any losses at the venue.

 

For our alumni who wish set-up tents during the bonfire, please note and strictly comply with the following guidelines:

  1. Interested alumni groups should pre-register at this link: go.ateneo.edu/BonfireAlumniTents by January 19, Thursday, 12 NN. Please note that pre-registration does not automatically secure for any group a slot for the tent area.
  2. Setting up of tents will be on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis. NO RESERVATIONS will be accepted. Groups may set-up on Saturday, January 21 starting at 12 NN. 
  3. The queue for the tent set-up will be by the entrance of the AGS Parking Lot,  along Masterson Drive, beside Blue Eagle Gym. 
  4. The area for tents is located at the back area of the AGS Parking Lot. A map will be provided upon request.
  5. Bring your own tents, chairs and tables. Electric outlets will not be provided.
  6. The maximum allowable area for tents is 10x10 feet.
  7. Tents should be free of any product placements/merchandise.
  8. Cooking is NOT allowed inside the tents.
  9. We will  have food concessionaires and merchandise booths to provide for your food and souvenir needs. Unauthorized selling of food and merchandise is NOT allowed.
  10. The University Athletics Office (UAO) will not be responsible for securing your tents. Please keep your valuables in check at all times.
