Daniel Canaria earns ‘distinction’ certificate at int’l math assessment test

Ateneo de Manila Grade School mathlete Daniel Canaria (4-Maniago in School Year 2021-2022) is one of only 97 Filipino mathletes to earn a distinction certificate in round one of the 11th International Mathematics Assessments for Schools (IMAS). He joined the competition’s Grade 4/Middle Primary division.
Organized by the IMAS Executive Council, IMAS is an innovative, world-class mathematics assessment test that measures students’ performance in three cognitive dimensions (Knowing, Applying & Reasoning) at the Middle Primary (Grade 3 and 4), Upper Primary (Grade 5 and 6), and Junior (Grade 7, 8, and 9) levels. Round one of IMAS 2022 was held online on February 5, 2022.
