Sophia Lee wins bronze in PH round of World Math tilt

Incoming Ateneo de Manila Senior High School grade 12 mathlete Sophia Lee (11-Wright in School Year 2021-2022) bagged a bronze award in the Philippines preliminary round of the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI), which was held online on June 18, 2022. She competed in the Grade 11 division.
As a medal awardee, Sophia has been invited to join the WMI Final Round, which will be held online this Saturday, July 16, 2022. The WMI Final Round will be participated in by mathletes from over 30 countries and territories, including Afghanistan, Australia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Macau, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
Based in Taiwan, the WMI is a comprehensive competition that promotes and popularizes Mathematics among students from kindergarten to senior high school.
