It has expanded from 155 participants from Singapore in 2006 to more than 33,600 participants from 28 countries and territories in SASMO 2022. With realistic and high standards, SASMO aims to stretch the untapped thinking potential of mathematically gifted students and improve their higher order thinking skills (HOTS).
