NEWS | Cyber-attack warning issued to schools

UNITED KINGDOM – The Department of Education (DfE) has issued a warning to schools telling them to read the guidance on cyberattacks issued by the Government to avoid being attacked by Russian “hacktivists”. It also recommended that schools reconsider their exposure to cybersecurity risk if they are using Russian-based IT applications. READ HERE

UNITED STATES – A new study conducted by the law firm BakerHostetler shows that industries are being sued more often by consumers for data breaches. PHILIPPINES – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will file charges against a former Smartmatic employee who has been linked to an alleged security breach.
