Steffi Teh is Top Female Contestant of PH Math Olympiad's Qualifying Round

Ateneo de Manila Senior High School mathletes Steffi Teh (11-Tsuji), Deanne Algenio (12-Beyzym), Jimbo Bernardo (12-Pro), Enzo Chan (11-Tsuji), Cassidy Tan (11-Moscoso), and Keean Tang (12-Sullivan) were among the 32 mathletes nationwide who emerged as National Finalists following the 24th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO) Qualifying Round. In addition, Steffi was also named the round’s Top Female Contestant. Held online on February 19, 2022, the PMO Qualifying Round attracted hundreds of high school math wizards from all over the country.
As national finalists, our six mathletes then competed in the PMO’s National Stage, which was held online on March 18 & 19, 2022.
The PMO is a project of the Mathematical Society of the Philippines and the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute. It is the oldest and most prestigious mathematics competition among high school students in the Philippines.
