University Way of the Cross to be held on 18 March 2022

Everyone is invited to join this year's University Way of the Cross, which will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022. The celebration will start with a Mass at 4:00 pm, continue with the Way of the Cross at the Church of the Gesù immediately after, and conclude with the procession of the Pilgrim Image of the Black Nazarene around Bellarmine Field. The event will be livestreamed via Radyo Katipunan.

You are also invited to visit and pay homage to the Pilgrim Image of the Black Nazarene when it arrives at the Church of the Gesù on Thursday, March 17, the day before the Way of the Cross.

Through this year's theme, “Pagbangon: A Way to Healing and Transformation,” we are invited to bring into communal reflection and prayer our hope for healing, renewal, and restoration as we continue to live amidst the challenge of the pandemic and our anticipation of the upcoming National Elections. We pray that this community tradition leads us to a meaningful encounter with the mystery of Christ’s Passion.
