Ignatian Year Activities for March 2022

In celebration of the milestone 400th anniversary of the canonization of St Ignatius of Loyola, the esteemed founder of the Society of Jesus, and St Francis Xavier, a first companion and one of the greatest Jesuit missionaries, Radyo Katipunan 87.9 FM invites everyone to join its Ignatian Year activities for March.
Fr Kit Bautista SJ, Ateneo de Manila University Chaplain, kicks things off with his lecture on “The Ignatian Conversion: Psycho-Spiritual Perspectives,” March 9th, Wednesday at 8pm.
On March 11th, Friday at 8pm, listen to “Lessons from a 500-year-old History,” hosted by Fr Antonio De Castro SJ, a Jesuit historian from Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
Pray and sing with Himig Heswita in “Thy Love and Thy Grace,” Saturday evening March 12th, live at 8pm. Through the virtual prayer concert, the Center for Ignatian Spirituality Philippines (CIS), in partnership with the Jesuit Music Ministry (JMM), aims to raise funds for the Training Program on Spiritual Direction of our local clergy.
Spend quiet moments and reflect, together with the Sacred Heart Novitiate Retreat House, in an online retreat this March 19th, Saturday at 10am. Former Ateneo de Manila University President, Fr Jose Ramon Villarin SJ, serves as Recollection Master, with the theme “La mínima Compañia de Jesus.”
Concluding the series of Ignatian Year Talks for the month, is Fr Danny Huang SJ discussing “Points on the 400th Anniversary of the Canonization of St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Francis Xavier,” live from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
