Join the 40-day prayer campaign for Laudato Si'

The Ateneo de Manila University, serving as a member of the Universities working group, would like to encourage members of our community to participate in the 40-day prayer campaign from 4 October (feast of Saint Francis) to 14 November, World Day of Prayer for the Poor.
The prayer campaign supports the seven sectors joining the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development’s Laudato Si' Action Platform with a dedicated day of prayer for each, connecting each sector with a Laudato Si' Goal. The Laudato Si’ Action Platform is a space for institutions, communities, and families to learn and grow together as we journey towards full sustainability and an integral ecology. As announced by our University President Father Bobby Yap SJ, AdMU is one of the universities to officially signify participation in the first cohort who will undertake the 7-year journey to become a Laudato Si’ university.

In addition, all Catholic Universities are warmly invited to review the existing resources on the Laudato Si' Action Platform website and to discern their commitment to creating a Laudato Si' Plan.
Let us be one with the Pope and the whole world in praying and working for the goals of Laudato Si.
