Invitation to Youth Voices, Food Systems and the Future: Involvement, Innovation and Inclusion happening on Sept 1, 2021
03 Aug 2021
Warm greetings from the Ateneo de Manila University, Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan and UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network warmly invite you to Youth Voices, Food Systems and the Future: Involvement, Innovation and Inclusion happening on September 1, 2021 (Wednesday), from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
This webinar serves as one of the many community dialogues held in relation to the UN Food Systems Summit and the Independent Dialogue held last April 16, 2021. Given the recent traction of different dialogues on food systems such as urban farming and the issues of food security and livelihood amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, these dialogues are an attempt to look at various perspectives on food systems.
This event, in particular, focuses on perspectives of the youth. With the recent difficulty in job hunting and the shift to online learning, insights on food systems from the youth play an important role in shaping the future of the country. This event aims to raise awareness among the youth, to be able to derive lessons and institutionalize sustainable food systems practices in their own ways.
