Shareholders’ Association of the Philippines (Sharephil)

entitled “Ethical Stock Investing? Strategies and Issues”A forum hosted by the Ethics Center in cooperation with Shareholders’ Association of the Philippines participants were MBA students from Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University. Mr. Dino Bate, President and CEO of COL Financial Group, Inc. talked about the easy way to invest in the Stock Market. Also, Dr. Ben Teehankee from the Management and Organization Department of De La Salle University talked about value of real business and investment.

4th GGAPP Annual Forum

An annual forum where GGAPP has become one of the leading associations of professionals working in the governance, ethics and compliance field. The forum was entitled “Board Independence: Reality or Myth?”. The topic was focused on the independent directors to push and serve as guardians of corporate governance reforms in their respective boards. Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban, was invited to give the main speech and also Honorable Chairperson Teresita J. Herbosa, Keynote Speaker of this Forum.

CST-BEN Symposium

This was a symposium on the “Vocation of the Business Leader” designed to grow a movement in faith-based management education in the Philippines. Several Catholic Universities were invited from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to be part of this movement. Talks include the Last February 2015 conference, Vocation of the Business Leader and initial planning of the mid-2016 conference.
