Laying foundations of hope: Groundbreaking of 90 houses at German Village, Gawad Kalinga Kalikasan, Nueva Ecija
A groundbreaking ceremony for 90 new homes in GK Kalikasan was held in Brgy. San Carlos, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija. This joint initiative by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Cabiao and Gawad Kalinga-Ateneo marks another significant step in transforming lives through bayanihan and solidarity.
Ateneo de Manila University renews partnership with Radyo Katipunan
Ateneo renewed its partnership with Radyo Katipunan during a MOA signing ceremony on 14 February 2025. The MOA was signed by Dr Benjamin Tolosa, Jr, Vice President for Mission Integration; and by Fr Emmanuel Alfonso SJ, Executive Director of JESCOM which runs Radyo Katipunan. The new RK Studio at the JESCOM building was also blessed during this occasion.
AIS presents proposed Ateneo Sustainable University Master Plan at SEEDS town hall
The Social and Environmental Engagement for Development and Sustainability (SEEDS) subcluster of the Mission Integration cluster held its first Town Hall on Friday, 21 February 2025. During the Town Hall meeting, the team from the Ateneo Institute for Sustainability led by its director, Dr Emmanuel Delocado, presented the proposed Sustainable University Master Plan.

We often hear people ask if there’s still hope for the Philippines. The persons featured in this video series are living manifestations that there is still hope in the country. And these persons carry the torch of hope in diverse fields: social entrepreneurship, advertising, manufacturing, finance, insurance, environment, corporate foundations, and NGOs. The videos were produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Fr Arrupe’s call for graduates of Jesuit institutions to be persons for others. They feature different ways of being persons-for-and-with-others today.
