Bridging hearts beyond words: Ateneo students participate in immersion program in Sichuan, China
Ateneo students were invited to participate in a University Immersion Program (UIP) in Sichuan, China. This program was a collaboration with Sichuan University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
From research to impact: The 2024 Ateneo Development Field School’s journey to Siargao
The 2024 Ateneo Development Field School (ADFS) journeyed to Siargao for community-based participatory development. Partnering with Gawad Kalinga (GK) Pangarap Village in Lobogon, Del Carmen, students transformed theory into practice during their two-week community immersion.
New classrooms constructed for St Joseph National High School in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija
Students of St Joseph National High School in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija will now benefit from a new Senior High School building, conceptualized through the initiative of Principal Estrelita Geronimo and Fr Ben Nebres SJ, and made possible by the generous donation of Dr Kate Shaw Curry via GK USA, in partnership with Gawad Kalinga (GK), the LGU of Cabiao, and GK-Ateneo.
Tatak Bayani: Equipping GK teams for the Bayani Challenge 2024
GK Ateneo conducted Bayani Challenge Training equipping GK workers, volunteers, and community members to launch Bayani Challenge in their areas. Nine pilot workshops were conducted in Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and Sorsogon for Luzon, Capiz for Visayas, and Misamis Oriental for Mindanao.
