New date and venue: Ateneo EmbLEM with the Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines

The university community is invited to the next lecture in Ateneo Global's EmbLEM: Embassy Lectures, Encounters, and Masterclasses.
His Excellency Ambassador ENDO Kazuya of Japan will be speaking about the long-standing and prospective partnership between the Philippines and Japan. The new date and venue for this special lecture is 9 May 2025 Friday 11:00 am at San Alberto Hurtado Hall, Social Development Complex.

H.E. Ambassador ENDO Kazuya has been serving as the Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines since March 2024. The Ambassador's diplomatic career began in April 1990 when he entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan. His first overseas assignments include roles as the First Secretary at the Embassy of Japan in the United Kingdom and in China.
Before becoming Ambassador to the Philippines, Ambassador ENDO was the Assistant Minister and Director-General of the International Cooperation Bureau which manages the Official Development Assistance (ODA), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and other matters related to global issues. He holds a B.A. in Law from the University of Tokyo (1990) and an M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (1994).
