February 14 and March 5 were exciting days for the Ateneo de Manila Grade School's Grade 2 students, as they embarked on a memorable field trip. Their adventure began at Rizal Park, where they marveled at the tallest flagpole in the Philippines and witnessed a simulation of José Rizal’s execution. They also learned fascinating facts about Rizal’s life and legacy before his final moments. A visit to the Chinese Garden followed, where they discovered its significance as a symbol of friendship and cooperation between the Filipino and Chinese communities.
Next, the students explored Manila Ocean Park, where they encountered a diverse array of animals. They were captivated by massive aquariums teeming with vibrant underwater creatures. They also observed iguanas, lizards, and snakes of various colors and sizes, deepening their appreciation for wildlife.
