This is REnt to real life

Juliana Guzman is a shining example of how the BS Restaurant Entrepreneurship (BS REnt) program from the Ateneo de Manila University John Gokongwei School of Management and Le Cordon Blue Ateneo de Manila equips students with the necessary skills and nurtures a strong entrepreneurial mindset fit for the food and beverage industry.
Currently, the Managing Partner of the Tatler Dining-featured SEVA Restaurant, Juliana can confidently say that the course has armed her with the necessary skills, knowledge, and mindset to thrive in the world of entrepreneurship.

The journey towards being an entrepreneur is not an easy one, but Juliana was determined to make her dreams a reality. With a passion for the hospitality industry, she knew that this was her calling even before college. However, the lack of a specific course at her dream school — Ateneo — posed a challenge. But then, BS REnt came along, becoming the perfect fit for Juliana's aspirations.

Juliana challenged the misconception that the BS REnt program is a course centered only on culinary and hospitality skills. "REnt is one of the most challenging entrepreneurial programs [out there]," she says, recounting how the projects she encountered offered a glimpse into the real-world struggles of the industry; providing lessons taught far beyond the four walls of a classroom.
As a new course, BS REnt presented its own set of challenges for Juliana and her fellow classmates. From building a food stall from scratch in just a few weeks during the pandemic, to executing a fully operating degustation dinner in a short period of time, all these experiences taught her batch valuable lessons that would shape their future as entrepreneurs.
Today, Juliana is a thriving entrepreneur, making her mark in the hospitality industry. Her entrepreneurial journey after graduating from BS REnt has been nothing short of exceptional. Her experience is a testament to the success of the program, and she serves as an inspiration to the next batches of aspiring entrepreneurs who want to make their mark in the competitive world of hospitality.
