[AGS] Mental Health Week
16 Oct 2023
This week, we celebrate Mental Health Week to raise mental health awareness once again and to drive positive change for mental health.
Let us together reflect and enact this World Mental Health Day theme of the World Health Organization: "Mental health is a universal right". This year’s theme emphasizes that each of us has a right to be well, physically, and mentally. Good mental health is vital to our overall health and well-being because it allows a person to flourish and reach his full potential. We achieve mental health by caring for ourselves and advocating for our wellness. Hence, the title of our Mental Health Week celebration is “Wellness Begins with Me".
We invite you to begin or continue integrating wellness activities into your daily or weekly routine to cope with challenging times as we return to face-to-face interactions and activities. May we also continue to show kindness and compassion for one another as we also promote and nurture the well-being of others.
