SUPPOSE we have less single-use plastics in Katipunan restaurants?
19 Feb 2020
The Single-Use Plastics: Possibilities for Stakeholder Engagement, or SUPPOSE, is a project under the Arete Sandbox Residency program that aims to design and implement sustainability solutions that address the problem of single-use plastics in quick-service restaurants (QSRs) in the area and for food deliveries in ADMU.
With Dr. Ma. Assunta C. Cuyegkeng, PhD as the lead proponent, they explore ecosystems that describe people’s practices, consumption patterns, and behavioral change in relation to single-use plastics in the Katipunan-Loyola Heights area. They are looking into alternative technologies/ systems/ practices that can be introduced to reduce single-use plastics in food deliveries on campus.
The SUPPOSE Team held a forum entitled "Business Approaches to the Problem of Single-Use Plastics" on February 19, 2020.
