University Research Council (Memo U2425-024)

I am pleased to announce a new appointment in the University Research Council (URC) membership:

Dr Filomeno V Aguilar Jr serves as chair of the URC.

The URC, under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President for Research, Creative Work, and Innovation in Higher Education, takes on the vital functions needed to advance research excellence in the University. It is in charge of setting direction, policy, strategy and review of research. 

On behalf of Ateneo de Manila, I would like to thank Dr Liane P Alampay for her gracious acceptance of this mission. We are also grateful to Dr Clarissa C David for serving in the Council this past year.

May our research engagement strengthen our intellectual mission as educators of Ateneo de Manila. Let our research lead us to strategic frontiers of creativity and innovation where we hope to rebuild our people and God’s creation ad majorem Dei gloriam.
