TALAB Coming up Soon (OVPLS Memo)

We invite everyone to participate in the Talakayang Alay sa Bayan (TALAB) activities that will be primarily on Tuesday, 21 March 2023 though activities will also take place on other days from March 13 to March 29 2023. The list of TALAB activities can be found at ateneotalab.com.

As announced in a memo issued on 27 February 2023, these activities will replace the regular undergraduate classes on 21 March 2023. Undergraduate students are expected to attend at least 4 hours worth of TALAB activities. Graduate classes will proceed as scheduled.

TALAB 2023’s theme is What’s Next?: Building Inclusive Futures. From social structures to the digital commons, COVID-19 has revealed to us the vulnerabilities of our systems and the various intersecting inequalities within global and local communities. The challenge now is to co-create sustainable and resilient societal solutions. Thus, TALAB will showcase initiatives, individuals, and groups that reimagine, rebuild, and reengineer our society moving forward in line with our call to be persons-for-and-with-others.

Through TALAB, we hope that our community will join in the co-creation of the society we envision and move towards an inclusive future for all. We look forward to your enthusiastic support!
