Solidarity Fund Update
One of the unique hallmarks of Ateneo de Manila is its sense of connectedness. Over the past year, we owe a debt of gratitude to every member of the Ateneo de Manila community who has worked tirelessly, sharing knowledge, expertise, and time to ensure the continuity of our shared educational and research mission. During these extraordinary times, your light did not waver, and up to this moment, your generosity of spirit continues to be a tremendous source of inspiration and hope.
We bravely lived, struggled, and persevered through. It is truly remarkable how we continue to come together and think about the Ateneo de Manila community as one. And here we are —despite disruptions and difficulties —going to extraordinary lengths to help each other.
And in that spirit, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to you, our dearest employees. Since the launch of the Solidarity Fund on 1 June 2021, we have received donations amounting to PhP1,038,050.00. Your generosity has helped kickstart the funds intended to provide health care and financial assistance to our fellow employees and their dependents afflicted by COVID.

The past year hasn’t gone the way we hoped, wished, or intended, but we continue to move forward, and it is this spirit that makes our community unique and magical. We may be exhausted and anxious but in everything, we remain hopeful.
Thank you for being part of this community. And always remember, we are here for each other.
Stay healthy, stay well until we see each other again!
