RE:
New Gates 3.1, 3.2 and Auxiliary Roads Construction
We would like to inform the community of the ongoing redevelopment of the area around Gate 3, including auxiliary roads. This redevelopment is intended to provide additional campus ingress and egress points along Katipunan Avenue and allow efficient traffic flow even with the resumption of face to face classes this coming academic year.
The following areas will be affected by this redevelopment effort:
- Arete asphalt service road
- Secondary road exiting to Gate 3.5
- Tricycle parking bay near Gate 3.5
We will be rerouting traffic flow while this redevelopment project is ongoing:
- Vehicles can continue to enter the campus through Gate 3.
- Pedestrians can continue to enter and exit the campus through Gate 3.5.
- Northbound vehicles (going towards UP Town Center) may continue to exit through Gate 3.5, but must go through the Northwest Exit Road (along the rear perimeter of the Arete complex)
- Southbound vehicles (going towards Aurora Boulevard) may continue to exit through Gate 2.9 OR Gate 3.5 (but must make a U-turn at CP Garcia intersection)
For more details, please refer to the attached diagram.
For any concerns, questions or suggestions, you can reach Ar. Arjay de Guzman at 09662551380 and/or Eng. Jero Galler-Pascual at 09065595730.
Thank you for your patience and kind understanding. Rest assured that we will exert all efforts to ensure the least possible inconvenience to the community as we continue to work to implement our campus mobility improvement program.
