RE:
Implementation of the One (1) Meter Physical Distancing Rule
With reference to memo #U2122-075 from the Office of the President dated 18 May 2022 regarding onsite work starting June 6, 2022, we would like to inform the community that upon the recommendation of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee Head and the University Physician, the university is now implementing a one (1) meter physical distancing rule for onsite work, face-to-face classes, meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibits, university and unit events, large and small social events, religious gatherings and sports activities.
This adjustment in physical distancing is consistent with the latest guidelines issued by IATF, DOLE, LGU, CHED, and DepEd. This guideline may be subject to change based on any future advisories from the appropriate agencies mentioned above.
Let us continue to follow the usual safety and health protocols that we have been faithfully practicing during these past couple of years, most especially as we begin reporting for onsite work. Let us help to keep our community safe.
We ask for everyone’s cooperation and strict compliance.
Thank you.
