All’s well that ends well!”

The ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance office sent us the formal report early this week about the official results of the assessments done in February 2022 for the following programs in the Loyola Schools: BFA Creative Writing (SOH), BS Psychology (SOSS), and BS Management (JGSOM).
And all three programs passed the assessment, obtaining an overall mark of "4" – meaning "Adequate as Expected."
Many warm congratulations!
The AUN-QA findings are meant to help in the continuous improvement of the programs. Recommendations provided by the assessors, especially those that are clearly connected with the strategic goals and directions of the Programs, Schools, and the University may be reviewed and considered for implementation. The end goal is to use these recommendations in order to bring about positive program and institutional changes.
We thank everyone who fully participated in this AUN-QA programs assessment. The willingness of the departments to subject their programs to this rigorous quality assurance exercise was commendable. Feedback on the entire process which the department chairs shared with the LSQA during the debriefing session was invaluable in ensuring the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of subsequent program assessments. Thank you LSQA for managing the entire AUN-QA assessment process very well –with poise and grace.
May these very good assessment results inspire and encourage other departments to get their programs ready for a similar exercise in the near future. We owe excellence to ourselves!
