Ateneo de Manila Junior High School offers scholarships and financial aid for Grade 7-10 students for SY 2025-2026. Grants are dependent on what the budget can accommodate.
FOR GRADE 7 SY 2025-2026 APPLICANTS: Scholarships for Grade 7 are offered to applicants from public elementary schools. However, APPLICANTS MUST APPLY FOR ADMISSION FIRST. Admissions application is different from FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION. Apply online for Admissions first (from 2 Sept to 2 Dec 2024) before applying for financial aid (8 to 31 January 2025).
FOR TRANSFEREES (Grades 8 or 9) SY 2025-2026: Accepted transferees can only apply after their first year in AJHS. Transfer applications will open in March 2025.
FOR RENEWAL OF FINANCIAL AID: For current AJHS Grades 7-9 students who wish to apply for financial aid, submit your application during the application period (8 to 31 January 2025).
Applying for Scholarships and Financial Aid
Applications for scholarship and financial aid can be submitted from 8 to 31 January 2025. Please SUBMIT ON TIME, so that the Financial Aid Committee will have all applicant files on hand when deliberation begins.
Applications for RENEWAL OF FINANCIAL AID/SCHOLARSHIPS should also be submitted on or before 31 January 2025.
Application is through a GOOGLE FORM which can be accessed through this LINK. Accomplish the form and upload the requirements stated below.
SCANNED documents and pictures will be uploaded to the form, so prepare the following ahead of time in order for submission to be done WITHIN the application period.
APPLICANT INFORMATION
COMPLETE Birth Certificate: includes page 2 if applicable (PSA or NSO, does not have to be recent)
RECENT ID picture (applicant’s face only)
COMPLETED card for the grade level previous to application (Grade 5/6/7/8, whichever would apply). The card has to show the school logo and applicant’s information, signed by the Principal, with the note PROMOTED TO GRADE ___.
The MOST RECENT OFFICIAL copy of the CURRENT GRADE LEVEL CARD (Grade 6/7/8/9, whichever applies).
ONE Letter of Recommendation from the HOMEROOM TEACHER of the applicant for the CURRENT YEAR, recommending the applicant for financial aid/scholarship. The teacher should send the digital copy of this letter to the parent, so the parent can upload it to the form.
PARENT INFORMATION
Scanned pictures of the family residence: front, bedroom, kitchen (jpg or png format)
One FAMILY picture
ITR of EACH parent for the most recent fiscal year, or Certificate of non-filing from the BIR, if not applicable
Payslips for EACH parent covering THREE MONTHS (September-December 2024)
UTILITY BILLS covering a three-month period prior to application (September-December 2024): Phone/Cable, Electricity, Water, Credit cards.
Letter of intent, stating the reason/s for requesting financial aid.
Deliberations will be conducted by the Financial Aid Committee. Results will be sent out by May 2025 at the earliest. Applicants will be notified through email about the result of their application.
Enrolment for Grade 7 will be in May, while Grades 8-10 will be in June. Late enrollment will be available for all grade levels on the first week of July. The opening of classes for SY 2025-2026 is on the last week of July.
