About SDG2 Zero Hunger Project

Conceived in mid-2020 in response to the rising cases of hunger and undernutrition induced by the COVID-19 pandemic, the SDG2 Zero Hunger Project was started as an education and information series dedicated to the promotion and attainment of SDG#2 Zero Hunger within the Philippines. Led by food security advocates from the Ateneo de Manila University, Ateneo de Davao University, and Xavier University-Cagayan de Oro, and supported by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Philippines (SDSN PH), the SDG2 Zero Hunger Project elevates the use of a systems-thinking framework when approaching food-related crises, which calls for coordinated multisectoral change and food systems transformation to properly address long-standing issues of undernutrition, hunger, and food insecurity.
