Climate and Disaster Resilience
GHG Accounting is a basic step towards climate change mitigation as it involves identifying and quantifying the emissions attributable to an organization’s (or a country’s) activities. Thus, it would be crucial to develop these capabilities in-house to design a Climate Action Plan for the University more efficiently, and to better assist other organizations or communities with their own climate commitments and targets.
The CDR program will take the lead in exploring this initiative in partnership with the Manila Observatory, with a view towards eventually establishing GHG Accounting among our roster of services for the public.
