Minor in Chinese Studies
To cater to the greater majority of students who desire to complement an area of concentration, deepen cross-cultural perspectives and awareness of important cultural and social issues related to China, prepare students for further work in Chinese studies, or provide them with tools for engaging China on different levels and areas, the Chinese Studies Program offers a Minor in Chinese Studies.
A Minor in Chinese Studies is required to have taken at least fifteen (15 ) academic courses.
A certificate is awarded to a student who has successfully completed the required Chinese Studies courses. This Minor is likewise reflected in the student’s official academic records.
Eligibility Requirement
Excepting those already pursuing AB Chinese Studies, or those with already pursuing a double-major/degree status with the Chinese Studies Program (CSP), Minor in Chinese Studies is open to all Loyola Schools undergraduate students.

Anytime (for non-graduating students)
30 April (for graduating students)
