Participate in International Week 2025 in Romania (from OAVP-UPI)

The Office of the Assistant Vice President for University Partnerships and Internationalization (OAVP-UPI) is pleased to announce that the Call for Applications to the 11th Edition of the International Week (iWeek2025) of the University of Lucian Blaga Sibiu (ULBS) on 19-23 May 2025, is now open!

This edition hosts both online and on-site meetings, aiming to engage participants in a common, sustainable cooperation on education, research, and innovation. iWeek 2025 approaches a range of topics such us:
- Digital Transformation in Higher Education
- Globalization and the internationalization of universities
- The future of research: collaboration between academia and industry
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion in Higher Education
- Innovative teaching methods and pedagogies
- Entrepreneurship and innovation in Higher Education
- The role of universities in fostering global citizenship
Important Note:
The successful applicant shall contribute to the iWeek 2025 programme by conducting a four-hour lecture/sharing on any of the abovementioned topics. The audience will consist of undergraduate, graduate (master’s and doctoral) students, and professors. All lectures will be held in English.

Qualifications and Conditions:
The call for applications is open to both academic and administrative staff. The participant should have a valid passport, with a minimum of six months validity from the intended mobility date and must have at least two empty pages. The program requires that the chosen participant be able to secure or have an existing Schengen Visa before the intended date of mobility. Additional reporting and return service requirements from ADMU will be discussed with the successful applicant.
