SSHN Research Grant 2025: Research Mobility Opportunity in France for Faculty and Staff

We are excited to announce that the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia has launched the 2025 call for the prestigious Séjours Scientifiques de Haut Niveau (SSHN) research grants. 

This opportunity is open to nationals from the Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau, and the Philippines.

The SSHN grants are designed for academic and research staff who wish to spend 2 to 4 weeks in a French higher education or research institution. This initiative aims to enhance cooperation between our institutions and those in France. Last year, 11 Filipino researchers across various disciplines were awarded this grant.

The scholarship covers:

• A round-trip air ticket
• A weekly allowance (425 euros for young researchers; 500 euros for senior researchers)
• Health and repatriation insurance
• Visa fees
• Accommodation can be arranged through Campus France Paris, with the rent deducted from the grant.
