Pathways holds recruitment orientation for 21st Batch
25 Nov 2024
As we prepare to recruit our 21st Batch of participants, we held our Recruitment Orientation with our partner schools from Marikina, Quezon City, and San Mateo, Rizal plus the San Mateo, Rizal Local Government Unit (LGU) and friends from the Department of Education Division Offices on Thursday, 21 November 2024, at the Walter Hogan Building.
Before anything else, we thanked our teachers for helping us successfully recruit 52 students to comprise our Batch 20. Since then, Batch 20 has joined our College Jumpstart where they began preparing for their college applications with College Entrance Test review classes, essay-writing workshops, and English grammar classes among others.
This year, we invited the teacher coordinators: Ms Heidi Acapulco from Sta. Elena High School in Marikina City and Ms. Sassa Evangelista from Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School to share their strategies for promoting and encouraging their students to apply to Pathways.
Having heard these, our teachers, principals, and public servants then brainstormed ideas on how to go about recruitment in their respective schools this year. In sharing their recruitment goals with us, they shared their aspirations for their own students and how they believe Pathways will guide them along the way as well.
It is with the support of our friends and allies from the LGUs and DepEd division offices of Marikina, Quezon City, and San Mateo, Rizal that we have been able to help students discover their best selves. We look forward to meeting the next generation of leaders who will be part of Pathways Batch 21!
Applications to Pathways to Higher Education's Batch 21 are now open!
