I. Brief Description
The Ateneo School of Government (ASOG) is the public policy academic arm of the Ateneo de Manila University. Its long-term mission is to teach and work with effective and ethical public servants to build prosperous, sustainable, just, and happy communities in the Philippines, empowered by democratic, participatory, transparent, and accountable governance institutions and processes. Through its research and extension programs, and its work with public, private and civil society organizations, ASOG aims to develop and foster innovative ideas and approaches in order to change mindsets and systems in such areas as leadership, poverty eradication, climate change, social accountability, and politics.
II. Scope of Work
The Project Admin Consultant, in close coordination with the Project Team and Executive Education Program team, is expected to handle administrative and financial related tasks, assist in the implementation of trainings:
1. Provide administrative support and finance-related tasks of the training projects;
2. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, maintaining project records; and undertaking participants management for trainings;
3. Provide assistance to do tasks related to basic graphic design, social media and copywriting;
4. Assist in report writing and other documentation requirements;
5. Provide support in preparing documentation for audits and compliance reviews;
6. Perform such other functions as may be assigned by the team similar to, and related to the
functions enumerated above.
III. Qualifications
Applicants for the Project Admin Consultant position must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any social science, with above average academic performance
- At least one year of experience in assisting in the conduct of complete training cycle;
- Proficiency in MS Office, basic graphic design, social media and copywriting;
- Experience in assisting the implementation of face-to-face events, online trainings, and managing online learning management systems is an advantage;
- Excellent English communication skills, oral and written;
- Basic project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
