CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Ateneo Policy Center Graphic Designer
03 Jun 2024
Unit: Ateneo School of Government (ASOG)
Location: SDC Complex, Ateneo de Manila University, Katipunan Ave. Quezon City
Duration: Two Months
I. Brief Description
The Ateneo School of Government (ASOG) is the public sector arm of Ateneo de Manila University. The School’s long-term mission is to teach and work with effective and ethical public servants. It aims to contribute to building prosperous, sustainable, just, and happy communities in the Philippines, empowered by democratic, participatory, transparent, and accountable governance institutions and processes.
In its working paper ‘Beyond Democrats and Authoritarians: Clustering Democratic Attitudes in the Philippines,’ Deinla et al. (2023) found that, while the Filipino youth remains supportive of democracy, they are fragmented into four clusters based on democratic values and satisfaction with democratic institutions. Clusters satisfied with democracy also prefer authoritarian values like conformity and political disempowerment. The new proposed study aims to reveal how experiences of economic mobility, geographic contexts, and education can shape each cluster’s views on democracy.

- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and incorporate feedback; and
- During the survey launch, provide support to the project team by creating posters, banners, and other assets for event-related communication initiatives.
