Call for Applications: Independent Contractor for Student and Alumni Engagement (Ateneo School of Government)

The Ateneo School of Government is currently looking for qualified candidates for the following position: Independent Contractor for Student and Alumni Engagement

I. Tasks and Functions

The Independent Contractor for Student and Alumni Engagement is expected to undertake the following:

II. Assessment

• Assess the current database of students and alumni, and proposes an integrated data information system and set of guidelines on how to encode, store, and retrieve personal data, as well as generate reports for insights
•  Gathers and analyzes best practices in student and alumni programs and benchmarks with other similar Schools or Universities, and recommends programs that may be adapted by ASoG
• Conducts a tracer and engagement study of alumni
• Assess the current processes and intersections within ASoG in relation to student and alumni engagement and service delivery.

 III. Process Design

• Recommends a conceptual framework on how the working relationships/collaborations within ASoG, with students and alumni, and with student and formation units in the University may be synergized.
• Proposes a consultation process design and plan to determine the needs of student and alumni in relation to services, formation, and engagement; and conducts the planned consultation activities.
• Proposes a process design for the formulation of the framework and strategy for students and alumni formation and engagement.
• Proposes an initial set of engagement activities (one year) for students and alumni, and designs prototype activities to “test the waters”.

IV. Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year degree, or equivalency in work experience, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, and other allied fields
• At least 5 years work experience, preferably in the area of student or alumni programs or activities
• Familiarity in proposal writing, events management, and people management.
• Independent, organized, self-reliant, requires minimal supervision, and excellent in written English
