Bearing light, waging purpose: COA-M Awards 2025: Apolaki

Last 29th May, student leaders, creatives, and changemakers gathered in celebration at the annual COA-M Awards 2025: Apolaki, the Council of Organizations of Ateneo – Manila’s (COA-M) recognition program honoring exceptional student org-led initiatives, collaborations, and leadership in the Ateneo college community.

Named after Apolaki, the Filipino god of the sun and war, the awards draw inspiration from his symbolism of illumination and strength—honoring those who shine the brightest and lead with purpose within the Ateneo student organization community.

This year’s theme, Apolaki, is a tribute to the vibrance of student-led initiatives that continue to spark innovation, impact, and meaningful change.
