AGS' Alingog and Navarrete help “Juggernutz” claim major awards for PH at VEX Robotics World Championship

Representing the Philippines with pride and excellence, Juggernutz 32321A—a powerhouse trio of talented Filipino students—made an extraordinary impact at the VEX Robotics World Championship, held from 6-14 May 2025 in Dallas, Texas, USA. Its members are Miggy de Guzman from International School Manila (ISM) and Axl Alingog and Dylan Navarrete, both from Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS).
This exceptional team brought home multiple honors, proudly raising the Philippine flag on the global stage:
- Judges Award for outstanding creativity, design, and teamwork
- 6th Place Overall in the VIQRC Elementary Science Division
- Best in Pit Design – selected from over 800+ teams worldwide for their innovative and engaging team booth
Ateneo de Manila is especially proud to recognize Axl Alingog (6–Campion) and Dylan Navarrete (6–Miki) of the AGS, who, alongside teammate Miggy de Guzman of ISM, embodied the Ignatian spirit of excellence, collaboration, and service through science and technology. (Axl and Dylan both graduated from the AGS on 23 May 2025.)
The VEX Robotics World Championship is the world’s largest robotics competition, offering a platform for young innovators to demonstrate their skills, connect with global peers, and inspire future breakthroughs in STEM and robotics. The 2025 edition took place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, welcoming 2,400+ teams from over 60 countries.
