ASHS is Novice Grandfinalist of Serious Intervarsity debate

The team of Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) debaters Josh Ong Ante (11-Tsuji) & Kathleen Erispe (11-Bellarmino) broke in 3rd place of the 2025 Serious Intervarsity’s novice category, eventually bowing out of the competition as Novice Grandfinalist.
A competitive pre-Worlds tournament utilizing the British Parliamentary format, Serious Intervarsity 2025 took place online last 8 to 9 February 2025. It featured a distinguished panel of experienced adjudicators and attracted over 145 debaters from various institutions worldwide.
