ASHS debaters are Open Grandfinalists of Lantugi Novice Cup; Magsalin is 8th Best HS Speaker

The team of Ateneo de Manila Senior High School debaters Chloe Magsalin (11-Hoyos) & Mico Siosana (11-Fontoura) placed 5th in the Open Category and ultimately became Open Grandfinalist of the Lantugi Novice Cup 2024 held last September. Individually, Chloe was recognized as the 8th Best High School Speaker.
A significant and intensive online debate tournament employing the British Parliamentary format, the Lantugi Novice Cup 2024 took place from 28 to 29 September 2024. Designed to be novice-friendly, it drew over 150 debaters and 75 adjudicators from across the Philippines.
