Invitation: Ateneo University-Wide Mock Elections 2025
02 Apr 2025 | Office of Social and Environmental Engagement for Development and Sustainability
We invite all Ateneo de Manila employees and students to participate in the Ateneo University-Wide Mock Elections 2025—an initiative that aims to encourage meaningful political engagement within the university community ahead of the 2025 Philippine National and Local Elections. This initiative is from the Ateneo Task Force for the 2025 Midterm Elections (ATF-ME 2025) of the Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Ateneo de Manila. It aims to highlight the importance of participation in democratic institutions while ensuring that voters make informed choices based on values, policies, and platforms rather than personality-driven politics. Through this mock election, we seek to:
-
Encourage thoughtful and responsible voting by providing an avenue for political engagement within the university;
-
Gauge the political pulse of the Ateneo community;
-
Promote civic participation by facilitating discussions on the significance of elections and governance.
Your participation is valuable in shaping an insightful and representative snapshot of the Ateneo community’s perspectives on the upcoming 2025 Philippine National Elections.
To cast your vote, kindly access the mock election form through this link: https://go.ateneo.edu/
