The Ateneo de Manila Grade School team composed of Ethan Alferez (6-Bellarmine), Anton Doria (6-Brebeuf), and Kian Siyhian (6-Gonzaga) emerged as Category A (for Grades 5-6) 1st Runner-up/silver medalist of the “Aghamazing Race” Science Olympiad held on 8 February 2025 at the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) Main Campus in Quezon City. “Aghamazing Race” was one of the activities held by PSHS to celebrate its 28th Youth Mathematics, Science, and Technology (YMSAT) Festival, whose theme this year was “AGHAMNATION: Agham ni Juan para sa Bayan.” The competition attracted 90 students from 30 schools.

The "Aghamazing Race: Interschool Integrated Science Olympiad" was an exciting and dynamic competition designed to engage students in the wonders of integrated science through a series of challenging tasks and activities. It combined elements of a relay race with scientific inquiry, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. Participants from various schools formed teams and navigated through multiple stations, each representing various scientific disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science. At each station, the teams faced hands-on challenges, experiments, and quizzes that tested their members' knowledge and skills. The format also promoted collaboration as students worked together to solve problems and complete tasks within a time limit.
