Trasmontero, Valera, & Magsalin are Novice Champs of Diliman Schools debate

The team of ASHS debaters Sian Trasmontero (12-Kibe), Yanny Valera (12-Grodecky), and Chloe Magsalin (11-Hoyos) ranked 1st in the Novice Category and took home the Diliman Schools Asian Parliamentary (DSAP) Novice Championship. Individually, Chloe was awarded Novice Finals Best Speaker while Sian was awarded as the 9th Best Novice Speaker.
The DSAP 2024 was a competitive Asian Parliamentary debate competition that was attended by more than 90 incredible high school debaters from all over the Philippines. It was especially competitive because only 10 teams proceeded to compete in the out rounds. Diliman Schools Asian Parliamentary 2024 was held online August 24 to 25, 2024.
