PAASCU grants Ateneo Grade School Level III five-year re-accreditation
07 Mar 2025

On 6 March 2025, the Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) received wonderful news from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) Board of Trustees: PAASCU had granted the school a five-year Level III re-accreditation, valid until February 2030.
In his heartfelt and jubilant message to the AGS community, Headmaster Mr Jervy Robles said that the result “demonstrated and validated how our Grade School program meets the rigorous criteria established by PAASCU and FAAP (Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines).” He then warmly thanked the school’s faculty, staff, professionals, students, parents, alumni, supervisors, and fellow administrators “for their dedicated efforts in support of our mission,” as well as the invaluable assistance of “all allied offices that have been instrumental throughout our PAASCU journey.” These offices include the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President for Basic Education, and the University’s Strategy and Quality Management Office (SQMO).
“We are truly grateful and blessed. That in all things, we may love and serve the Lord,” Mr Robles concluded.
The AGS underwent its PAASCU re-accreditation on 4-5 December 2024. The PAASCU team, led by Mr Jose Ramelle Javier (Chair of the Resurvey Team), facilitated the process, which included class observations, interviews, and the review of self-survey reports and related documents.
PAASCU is a private, non-stock, non-profit service organization which ensures that educational institutions in the Philippines meet high standards of excellence.
