ASHS Debaters Rivera, Carasig & Cabrera are novice champs of Fast Forward 2024; Rivera is Novice Finals Best Speaker

The team of Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) debaters Leah Joy Rivera (12-Beyzym), Rafael Carasig (12-Grodecky) & Skye Cabrera (12-Daniel) ranked 4th in the novice category and took home the Novice Championship in the Fast Forward 2024 competition which was held online on 13-14 July 2024. Meanwhile, the ASHS team of Sian Trasmontero (12-Kibe), Yanny Valera (12-Grodecky) & Chloe Magsalin (11-Hoyos) ranked 2nd in the Novice Category and ended their run as Novice Grand Finalists.
Individually, Leah Joy was named Novice Finals Best Speaker while Chloe was named 5th Best Novice Speaker.
Held online on 13-14 July 2024, Fast Forward 2024 was an extremely competitive tournament, with over 150 high school debaters from debate-renowned institutions from all over the Philippines participating.
