Bernas Institute hosts Mandatory Continuing Legal Education lecture

On 28 February 2025, the Fr Joaquin G Bernas SJ Institute for Continuing Legal Education of the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law held a Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Lecture Series. - Amendments to the Rules of Evidence – Atty Axel Rupert M Cruz, Director of Ateneo Legal Services, provided insights into recent changes in evidentiary rules and their impact on legal practice.
- Online & Traditional Media: Ethical Nuances under the Code of Professional Responsibility & Accountability – Atty Eugenio H Villareal, a faculty member of Ateneo Law School, examined ethical considerations for legal practitioners in the digital age.
- Updates on Data Privacy Law & Regulations – Atty Felicisimo F Agas III, a faculty member of Ateneo Law School, discussed the latest developments in data privacy laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Climate Change & Climate Litigation in the Philippines – Atty Gregorio Rafael P Bueta, also from Ateneo Law School delved into the legal implications of climate change and ongoing climate litigation in the country.
