Women's Month 2025 - Open Call for Calendar Events

The University Gender and Development Office (UGDO) welcomes activities and events from offices, organizations, and other school-based groups within the University related to Women's Month 2025 for inclusion in the University Women's Month Calendar.

This year's theme is "Rights Equality and Empowerment for ALL Women and Girls: In Celebration of Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (BPfA) + 30." The Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2025 and provides the University with an opportunity to reflect and respond to the gains and challenges from this landmark gathering in 1995.  This year, we remember the gains in legal protection, access to services, youth engagement, changing social norms, and women’s participation in peace initiatives but continue to promote women's and girls’ rights, gender equality, and empowerment through inclusive spaces and opportunities for women and girls.
