ALiWW's Pamana Podcast: Episode 2 - Desperately Seeking Women

In the second episode of ALiWW's Pamana Podcast titled "Desperately Seeking Women", we dive into the archival journeys of Dr. Vina Lanzona, author of Amazons of the Huk Rebellion, and Dr. Katherine Lacson from Ateneo de Manila University. Together, they share how they uncover the hidden narratives of women from various archives and the skills needed to find women in our history.

Dr. Lanzona shares her search for revolutionary women of the Huk Rebellion through various archival documents and rare oral interviews, now preserved in the Ateneo Library of Women’s Writings (ALiWW). Meanwhile, Dr. Lacson uncovers the multifaceted identities of women during the American Period through ads, socialite columns, and other ephemera.
