ASoG wins Best Paper award at the 2024 PSPA International Conference

The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) participated in the recently-concluded 2024 Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA) International Conference held in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental last 5 - 7 December 2024.
With the theme “Exploring New Governance Approaches for Sustainability and Administrative Resilience,” this year’s conference gathered esteemed scholars, practitioners, and students in the field of public administration to discuss new governance approaches and explore innovative solutions for sustainable and resilient governance.
Mr Nizam Marohomsalic Pabil from the ASoG Master in Public Management (MPM) Program was awarded the Best Paper for his Governance Innovation Report (GIR), entitled, “Establishing Genuine Political Parties in BARMM: Facilitators and Barriers in the Registration and Accreditation of Regional Parliamentary Political Parties in BARMM” from among the roster of highly meritorious reports and research work on advancing genuine transformation in leadership and governance.
ASoG Executive Education Program Head Ms Sharon Grace S Yabut presented a paper titled, “Empowering the Future: Developing Key Skills for a Resilient and Adaptive Public Sector Workforce”, together with esteemed alumni from the MPM Program who also presented their Governance Innovation Reports (GIRs), highlighting diverse perspectives in various industries:

Aligned with the PSPA’s mission and goals, ASoG remains cognizant of the challenges in addressing issues in governance and continues to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience among various sectors, locally and internationally, in the pursuit of genuine leadership reforms.
